Bourne Rec's pickleball lessons will be taught by Straight-Up Pickleball, founded by Laura and Karl Uggerholt. Straight-Up’s five experienced and caring Coaches will offer comprehensive pickleball lessons, allowing players to advance through a consistent curriculum at their own pace. The instructors are excited about the ’23 season and look forward to sharing what they know about a sport they love with great people!
These clinics are perfect for the intermediate player interested in progressing toward a more strategic game. The Straight-Up Coaches will focus topics such as positioning, shot control and placement, introduction to non-volley zone and transition zone strategies. Qualified participants can sustain rallies and consistently serve and return. Clinic participants will be organized based on skill level to promote a fulfilling experience for all. You will leave the clinic with an understanding of your strengths and knowing where to focus to improve your game!
