Chester Park Improvement Project – Public Input Needed!
Following extensive public engagement, the Bourne Recreation Committee has gathered valuable community feedback on multiple design concepts for the proposed Chester Park improvements.
The latest illustration, Concept C, reflects the collective input received thus far and is being presented with two potential hardcourt layout scenarios for discussion and feedback.

We encourage residents and stakeholders to share their thoughts in the following ways:

All submitted feedback will be reviewed by the Recreation Committee and considered in the next steps of the planning process, should Community Preservation funding be approved at the May 5, 2025, Annual Town Meeting.

GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION:
The Recreation Department is not responsible for participants prior to the scheduled start of a program. We ask that caregivers stay with their children until attendance has been taken and the participant has been properly signed into the program with the instructor. Participants will be dismissed from the program to the caregiver promptly at conclusion. Caregivers must be physically present at dismissal. If you require any special accommodations related to dismissal, please communicate that with the Recreation Staff prior to the start of the program.

FACILITY RENTAL INFORMATION:
Bourne Recreation is charged with the scheduling of The Community Center, Clark, Keith, Pocasset, Monument Beach, and Queen Sewell outdoor recreation areas as well as the indoor facilities at the Bourne Veteran's Memorial Community Center. Organization accounts and Certificate of Insurance copies (with the Town named as an Additional Insured) are required prior to submitting a request. 

YOUTH LEAGUE INFORMATION: 
Bourne has many great not-for-profit youth/community organizations that are organized by volunteers.  Information can be found here
