SAFETY RULES
Nerf battles are for friendly competition, and a good time.  Safety rules are the most important of Nerf war rules, and should be followed diligently in order for everyone to have a good time.

No physical contact. There is no hitting, kicking, pushing, pulling, wrestling, or physical attacking involved in Nerf wars. The only physical contact that should be made with another player is in the form of tapping, which is used to get someone “out”, to “revive” someone, or to save them from a "hostage" situation.

Always wear eye protection
. During your Nerf war battles, it’s important to keep on protective eye wear on at all times.

GENERAL RULES
No Shooting above the shoulders

No Shooting the opponent while reloading
No close range shots (within 10 ft)
Share darts
Only Rec Nerf Blasters may be used
Do not throw or drop blaster
Players much stay inside of battle zones

Most of all, have fun!

Rules may be modified based based on game play.

Game Play Will Include:
  1. Capture the flag: Each team is given a colored flag, which is placed on their side of the "field". The goal is to defend their own flag while also attempting to capture and steal the enemy’s flag. The first team to capture the other team’s flag a certain number of times (typically once) is the team to win.
  2. Hunger Games. players are split into two teams. All blasters and darts must go in a pile in the center of the playing field. Everyone starts out standing an equal distance away from each other and from the pile. When the game signals its start, players must rush to collect their blasters in this all-out brawl. Last person standing wins!
  3. Tag. This is a solo-based Nerf game. One player, the tagger, will be armed with a blaster. The other players in the game have to avoid being tagged or hit with a dart by the tagger. As soon as another player becomes tagged, they become a tagger themselves. Whoever can go the longest without being tagged is the winner.
