Help your child build confidence, independence, and safety smarts! This engaging course is designed for children who may be home alone for short periods of time, or in charge of younger siblings while caregivers work from home! Participants will learn essential accident prevention and basic first aid skills, along with important safety topics such as door and telephone answering techniques and fire prevention.
The class is taught in a fun, interactive, setting using group discussions, videos, and role-playing activities to help kids practice real-life situations in a supportive environment. Geared for children ages 8–11, this program empowers kids with the knowledge they need to stay safe and make smart decisions.
Please send participants with a snack and water bottle.
Instructor Bio: Beth Oleson is a Health Educator, with years of experience teaching youth. Beth offers courses focusing on various topics including First Aid, Choke Save, Home Alone, Babysitting and Manners Matter Most! She’s a mother of 3 and grandmother of 3 as well!
