Welcome to the Bourne Rec Summer Program!
Over the course of seven weeks, your child will enjoy a wide range of recreational activities. Our dedicated staff is ready each day with exciting plans to create unforgettable memories for every participant. Daily activities include everything from dance parties to pirate ball and so much more. 7 Week Summer Registration: Opens Monday, March 2nd
Non-Residents: April 6th
*New* Weekly Options: Open Wednesday, April 1st if space allows
Dates: Monday, June 22nd - Friday, August 7th (Summer Program closed on Friday, July 3rd (4th of July Observance Day))
Time: 8:30am-4:00pm
Cost:
- Full 7 Weeks $1180.00 Res - $1440.00 Non-Res
- Weekly Sessions: $200.00 Res - $250.00 Non-Res
Eligibility: Ages 6-12 (Must have completed a year of kindergarten prior to enrollment)

We remain deeply committed to keeping Bourne Rec programs affordable for our families. After five seasons without an increase to the Summer Program fees, a slight adjustment is necessary to help offset rising costs for equipment, supplies, and staffing. As a self-supported program that many families rely on for quality summer care, we are proud to share that even with this increase, the 7 week cost remains just $4.50 per hour and continues to provide an accessible and valuable option for our community.
Spots are limited, we encourage you to join the waiting list if the program is full. Enrollment into the Bourne Rec Summer Program is contingent upon staffing, as we hire qualified staff, more spots will be available but not guaranteed.
Registration Process:
1. Complete online registration below.
2. Fill out Enrollment & Authorization Paperwork for each child enrolled, (due before June 1st). Children will be unable to attend the program without this mandatory paperwork. Forms available here. These can be dropped off at the Rec Office, mailed to 239 Main St. Buzzards Bay MA 02532, or scanned and emailed to KMcCready@bourne-ma.gov.
3. All outstanding balances to be paid by May 29th.
Payment Plans Available for Full Summer Option - Please note that our system does not retain credit card information and all payments will have to be manually processed by the household on or before their due date.

8:30am-9:00am: Sign In/Free Play
9:00am- 10:30am: Morning Activities
10:30am- 10:45am: Snack Time
10:50am-12:00am: Midday Activities
12:00pm-12:30pm: Lunch
12:40pm-1:30pm: Playground/Court Time
1:30pm-3:30pm: Afternoon Activities
3:30pm-4:00pm- Sign Out/Free Play
Lunch is not provided, all participants must bring their own lunch.
This program is exempt and not licensed by the EEC.
