Get ready to scoop, pass, and score with Stix.. a fun, beginner-friendly lacrosse program brought to you by Bourne Youth Lacrosse and Bourne Rec! Stix is a 4 week learn to play program where kids can jump right into the action with one hour practices full of energy, games, and skill building. Pickleball at Bourne Rec is a program for players of all abilities though we do ask that you are familiar with the rules as instruction is not offered. The gym is lined for 4 courts in total, rotations are had via the board system. More information on this can be found in the form linked below.This program caps at 32 participants. Once filled we would encourage you to join the waiting list. If we are able to remove you from the waiting list, we will notify you via email and phone.Important Information:Attendance will be taken, all participants must sign in prior to play.Paddles are not provided, but we have some if you would like to borrow one.Bourne Rec has 4 indoor courts, divided by a curtain. We use a board rotation system, one board for the front two courts and another for the back two courts. We ask that folks list their skill level when writing their names to create smoother court match ups.Bourne Rec is committed to providing an affordable and accessible experience for all of our athletes. In order to maintain this commitment, we are unable to offer pro-rated registration fees. Additionally, refunds will not be issued for missed sessions unless the session is cancelled by the Recreation Department.Please note that participants may not "sub-out" their spot to another individual for any missed sessions. In many cases, we maintain a wait list, and any available openings must be offered to those individuals first. This is a recreational program rather than a formal league, so there are no set teams, standings, or season-long commitments. Miss Kath is back with Canvas Kids. Starting off the school year with a splash of color! Each week the participants will explore sketching and painting different scenes, characters or fun creations. Pickleball at Bourne Rec is a program for players of all abilities though we do ask that you are familiar with the rules as instruction is not offered. The gym is lined for 4 courts in total, rotations are had via the board system. More information on this can be found in the form linked below.This program caps at 32 participants. Once filled we would encourage you to join the waiting list. If we are able to remove you from the waiting list, we will notify you via email and phone.Important Information:Attendance will be taken, all participants must sign in prior to play.Paddles are not provided, but we have some if you would like to borrow one.Bourne Rec has 4 indoor courts, divided by a curtain. We use a board rotation system, one board for the front two courts and another for the back two courts. We ask that folks list their skill level when writing their names to create smoother court match ups.Bourne Rec is committed to providing an affordable and accessible experience for all of our athletes. In order to maintain this commitment, we are unable to offer pro-rated registration fees. Additionally, refunds will not be issued for missed sessions unless the session is cancelled by the Recreation Department.Please note that participants may not "sub-out" their spot to another individual for any missed sessions. In many cases, we maintain a wait list, and any available openings must be offered to those individuals first. With over 10 years of experience as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, she infuses fun and energy into her classes. Her workouts combine mobility, balance, and strength. For safety, we recommend that parents stay with children 12 and under.Please remember to bring your own basketball.All participants must be registered and signed in before playing.Community Center Policies and Procedures apply during Shootaround.Team practices and coaching are not permitted.The schedule is updated monthly, so be sure to check back often for the latest times.
