Shootaround - Shootaround Shootaround is a fun and flexible program offered by the Recreation Department where residents can enjoy some time in the gym to play pick-up basketball or simply practice their skills. This program is for Bourne Residents only. This is an unsupervised program, so players are free to come and go as they wish. For safety, we recommend that parents stay with children 12 and under.Please remember to bring your own basketball.All participants must be registered and signed in before playing.Community Center Policies and Procedures apply during Shootaround.Team practices and coaching are not permitted.The schedule is updated monthly, so be sure to check back often for the latest times. Evening Pickleball - Evening Pickleball - Session One Pickleball at Bourne Rec is a program for players of all abilities though we do ask that you are familiar with the rules as instruction is not offered. The gym is lined for 4 courts in total, rotations are had via the board system. More information on this can be found in the form linked below.This program caps at 32 participants. Once filled we would encourage you to join the waiting list. If we are able to remove you from the waiting list, we will notify you via email and phone.Important Information:Attendance will be taken, all participants must sign in prior to play.Paddles are not provided, but we have some if you would like to borrow one.Bourne Rec has 4 indoor courts, divided by a curtain. We use a board rotation system, one board for the front two courts and another for the back two courts. We ask that folks list their skill level when writing their names to create smoother court match ups.Bourne Rec is committed to providing an affordable and accessible experience for all of our athletes. In order to maintain this commitment, we are unable to offer pro-rated registration fees. Additionally, refunds will not be issued for missed sessions unless the session is cancelled by the Recreation Department.Please note that participants may not "sub-out" their spot to another individual for any missed sessions. In many cases, we maintain a wait list, and any available openings must be offered to those individuals first. Canvas Kids: Painting with Miss Kath - Canvas Kids: Painting with Miss Kath Miss Kath is back with Canvas Kids. Starting off the school year with a splash of color! Each week the participants will explore sketching and painting different scenes, characters or fun creations. Using their own creativity, they will follow Miss Kath's guidance and instruction to create their own masterpiece.Please make sure participants wear clothes that they don't mind getting messy! Canvas Kids: Painting with Miss Kath - Canvas Kids: Painting with Miss Kath Miss Kath is back with Canvas Kids. Starting off the school year with a splash of color! Each week the participants will explore sketching and painting different scenes, characters or fun creations. Using their own creativity, they will follow Miss Kath's guidance and instruction to create their own masterpiece.Please make sure participants wear clothes that they don't mind getting messy! If you require any special accommodations related to dismissal, please communicate that with the Recreation Staff prior to the start of the program.

Evening Pickleball - Evening Pickleball - Session One Pickleball at Bourne Rec is a program for players of all abilities though we do ask that you are familiar with the rules as instruction is not offered. The gym is lined for 4 courts in total, rotations are had via the board system. More information on this can be found in the form linked below.This program caps at 32 participants. Once filled we would encourage you to join the waiting list. If we are able to remove you from the waiting list, we will notify you via email and phone.Important Information:Attendance will be taken, all participants must sign in prior to play.Paddles are not provided, but we have some if you would like to borrow one.Bourne Rec has 4 indoor courts, divided by a curtain. We use a board rotation system, one board for the front two courts and another for the back two courts. We ask that folks list their skill level when writing their names to create smoother court match ups.Bourne Rec is committed to providing an affordable and accessible experience for all of our athletes. In order to maintain this commitment, we are unable to offer pro-rated registration fees. Additionally, refunds will not be issued for missed sessions unless the session is cancelled by the Recreation Department.Please note that participants may not "sub-out" their spot to another individual for any missed sessions. In many cases, we maintain a wait list, and any available openings must be offered to those individuals first.
